Prayer
Father,
I choose to take a seat - acknowledging You are my respite.
I pause. Stop. Look up. Resting within this moment. I call upon You, and cry out, “Help me God!” I am overwhelmed by all I am facing. I need assistance, guidance, counsel. I need You! I invite You, Holy Spirit, to step into my situation. Be my advocate. Strengthen me. Remove from me all insecurity, and secure me within the promises of God. Thank You for interceding for me. In Your presence, I am reminded, I am not alone. You are with me, my ever-present help in times of trouble. I will not be afraid. The hills and the valleys belong to You, Lord. Assuredly, You will carry me through this chasm of testing. As I look to You, I am renewed. Within this moment, You have given me the strength to go on confidently in You.
Amen
